NEIS 2017 took place on the 21-22 September 2017. Around 100 participants had the opportunity to listen to 48 paper presentations focusing on the following topics:

 

  • Grid operation and micro grid control
  • Grid and plant protection
  • Optimization of grid operation
  • Power quality
  • Energy storage systems
  • Planning of distribution grids

 

Conference proceedings were published in VDE Verlag as well as in IEEE Xplore.

The conference program was additionaly enriched by two keynote presentations:

 

  1. Control Challenges in Power Systems Dominated by Converter Interfaced Generation and Transmission Technologies

  2. Analysis and Mitigation of Renewable Energy and HVDC System Resonances
