NEIS 2019 took place on the 19-20 September 2019. Around 100 participants had the opportunity to listen to 37 paper presentations focusing on the following topics:

  • Grid integration of e-mobility
  • Sector coupling for practical applications with dual use
  • Power system measurement and identification methods
  • Innovative monitoring and protection methods for power systems
  • Experimentally validated energy storage applications
  • Experimental demonstration of smart grid solutions
  • New mathematical computations for power systems

Conference proceedings were published in VDE Verlag as well as in IEEE Xplore.

The conference program was enriched by two keynote presentations:

  1.  Fault Tolerant Smart Transformer in Distributed Energy Systems
(Prof. M. Malinowski, Warsaw University of Technology)
  2. Improving the Resiliance of Power System Operation - Contribution of Renewable Energies in Power System Restoration
(Prof. M. Braun, Fraunhofer IEE & University of Kassel)
