NEIS 2020 took place on the 14th and 15th of September 2020. Around 100 participants had the opportunity to listen to 74 paper presentations focusing on the following topics:
- Grid integration of e-mobility
- Sector coupling for practical applications with dual use
- Power system measurement and identification methods
- Innovative monitoring and protection methods for power systems
- Experimentally validated energy storage applications
- Experimental demonstration of smart grid solutions
- New mathematical computations for power systems
Conference proceedings were published in VDE Verlag as well as in IEEE Xplore.
The conference program was enriched by three keynote presentations:
- Challenges for the Future Power Systems
(Prof. Malcolm McCulloch, University of Oxford, United Kingdom) - Unlocking the Hidden Capacity of the Electrical Grid through Power Electronics
(Prof. Marco Liserre, Christian-Albrechts-University Kiel, Germany) - multiDC - Towards a Holistic Integration of HVDC Links into Large-Scale AC Systems
(Dr. Weckesser, DanskEnergi, Denmark)
