If you want to publish a paper with the conference, which we assume you do, your abstract has to be submitted in pdf format not later than April 28th 2019  via e-mail to neis2019@hsu-hh.de. The abstract should have a length of 2 pages, including figures and tables. The e-mail address above is handling your submissions in form of a ticket system.

You will receive an e-mail of acceptance.

Full paper guidelines


Deadline for full paper submission is June 2nd 2019. The full paper template will be sent to you by e-mail once your abstract has been accepted or can be downloaded in the download section on the right.


The full paper should contain 4-6 DIN A4 pages (including figures and tables).

Submission format:

Please use the mandatory template and write in English, otherwise the publication of your paper cannot be ensured. If you use Microsoft Word® please send us the .doc/ .docx- and pdf-file.


Presentation of the full paper at the conference is required for the publication in the VDE conference proceedings. Please read carefully the Copyright Agreement you can find here. When submitting your full paper, you confirm that you took notice of and acknowledge the Copyright Agreement.

High quality full paper, which fulfill the requirements for a publication of IEEE can be selected for publication in IEEE Xplore®. The decision is made based on external reviews. You will get notified after a final screening conducted after the conference.

Please make sure, you use the mandatory template; otherwise the publication in IEEE Xplore® cannot be ensured. Please make sure that your papers are compatible with Black/White publishing.


The papers have to be presented at the conference in 15-minute presentations in English. Alternative to the presentation is a contribution to the poster session. After review of the full papers we will devide the contributions into those for presentations and those for the poster session. Submitted full papers that are not presented at the conference cannot be published.
