NEIS 2021 – Keynote Speakers: Welcome Mr. Antonello Monti and Mr. Hartmut Huang
With pleasure we can announce our first two keynote speakers for this year’s NEIS conference! We would like to welcome Dr. Hartmut Huang and Prof. Antonello Monti, who will both give insights to their current fields of research.
Mr. Hartmut Huang is a well known expert for HVDC technologies and is currently working in an executive position in HVDC and Power Electronics business with Siemens in Germany. He is the 2020 recipient of the 47th IEEE PES Uno Lamm High Voltage Direct Current Award.
Mr. Antonello Monti is the Director ACS / Chair Automation of Complex Power Systems at the RWTH Aachen, one of Germany’s leading Technical Universities. He has held this position since the foundation of the Institut für Automation of Complex Power Systems in 2008. Prior to that, he held a position as Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering of the University of South Carolina, USA, for more than 8 years. His key topics are real-time-simulation and modelling of energy applications.
